Contemporary Artist Portfolio

My work explores the conflict between the unconscious mind and the physical act of creation. The process is rhythmic and trance-like, layering paint into explosive forms. I am currently inspired by the concept of sculptural painting and light; their combination enriches each other, creating a sensory experience rather than just a visual one. Over my years at Cardiff Metropolitan University, I have grown in ways I could never have predicted in my practice. It has evolved both materially and thematically beyond what I anticipated, and I am very excited for the future - eager to further develop my practice and become an active participant in the artistic community.
